Poem - Things I'll Never See

THINGS I’LL NEVER SEE (with apologies to Joyce Kilmer)

I think that I shall never see
A lighthouse that is dwarfed by me

A cow that’s smaller than a mouse
An elephant inside my house

A way of getting on with kippers
A cat that knows to fetch my slippers

A maccy D that has some flavour
A vegan meal that I could savour

A Fifer who’s not tight with money
A poem of mine that’s actually funny

A windless day in my home town
A Trump that’s not a total clown

A monkey be a neurosurgeon
The BBC be nice to Sturgeon

The point of still being ruled by Queenie
Farage hang like Mussolini

That Bogart line not make me cry
A Tory that won’t tell a lie

I think that I shall never see
The point of rhyming this with tree
